The Staple spring’11 collection has recently dropped at Concrete! The theme is dubbed “Film School“. Staple took a deep dive at the art of filmmaking as a source of inspiration for this collection. Jeff was also really inspired by the different emotions that movies can bring out in us… He tried to exhibit a few of these in the line. The collection includes a lot of tees inspired by different iconic movies (Mr. Lee’s biographic: ‘Dragon‘, urban samurai: ‘Ghost Dog‘ and the legendary: ‘Seven Samurai‘) and cinematography, beautifully cut shirts, Staple’s iconic pigeon fitted caps (including a mad swag Gucci colourway for all da lil hype Kanye kids) and the impressive Staple Gondry Tech Jacket (which is already sold out) Below is a little teaser clip. (Not easy getting your own theater in NYC!) Look out for the new styles coming soon at Concrete.

Filling a role started by legendary martial artist Bruce Lee is never an easy task. But singer Jay Chou acted out his role as Green Hornet‘s sidekick Kato with each during the remake by director Michel Gondry. With the movie’s DVD and Blu-Ray releases set for next month, Jay Chou’s retail boutique, PHANTACi, announced the launch of Green Hornet BE@RBRICK Collection. In 100% size and imprinted with the likeness of Green Hornet and Kato, the pack is set to release on Saturday, May 21st, at PHANTACi along with other select retailers across Taiwan, Japan, and Hong Kong. In addition, its purported that the PHANTACi x New Balance MT580GH in White-Neon Green will also be available, though there is no confirmation at this time yet.
